Here's What's Happening In The Market, Here’s What This Means For You
Listing inventory this past week has dropped further in every county in Southern California. All counties are now at the lowest inventory levels that they've been at this year. Overall closed sale activity was pretty active for last week being a holiday-shortened week and the time of the year. Although the number of listings moving from Active status to Active Under Contract status was lower than in past weeks.
The week between Christmas and New Year's Day is typically the slowest of the year in real estate activity. Once the calendar moves to 2022 I'm hoping we see an increase in inventory. But that might not show up in the stats until late January or early February.
Feel free to give me a call or shoot me an email with any questions on the market or if you’re looking at acquiring more units or selling a property you currently own.
